Municipalities' Success Code – Gender Equality
Duration: 12th of December 2016 – 11th of December 2020.
The goal of the project is to systemically reduce gender gaps in municipalities by raising awareness of gender inequality among the subjects of the public sector, as well as improving their skills at recognising the factors which lead to gender (in)equality, and developing and implementing targeted measures to ensure equal opportunities.
The objectives of the project are:
- analysis of the situation of women and men in municipalities and creation of electronic map;
- implementation of specific measures designed to change the situation with regards to the equal opportunities available for women and men;
- increasing public awareness of the issues related to gender equality.
